Sickle Cell Outreach Report - July 2025

We are delighted to announce our recent outreach project aimed at helping children living with sickle cell disease. Whilst conducting other medical work in the area, we noticed that there were a number of children and young people who were suffering from this disease. We therefore thought it important to open a temporary clinic so that those suffering could come and receive treatment. The condition can appear in different forms in different people and we wanted to conduct outreach which would be able to help as many people as possible.

Thankfully, we were able to treat all of those who attended, mainly providing them with folic acid as well as Hydroxyurea in some cases.

Unfortunately, due to limited resources, we were unable to provide complete treatment to all who attended. However, we were still able to help many and continue to trust in God to provide so that we can increase the number of people who we support in the future.
